UPSC declares the CDS II exam 2016 results: 8563 candidates qualify for interview

 
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam II on the UPSC official website. The examination was conducted on October 23, 2016 and 8563 candidates have qualified for the exam.
 
The CDS (II) 2016 was held on October 23, 2016 for admission to

  1. Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 143rd Course commencing in July, 2017
  2. Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, Course commencing in July, 2017
  3. Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (202/16F/PC) commencing in July, 2017
  4. Officers Training Academy, Chennai 106th SSC Course (for Men) commencing in October, 2017
  5. Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 20th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in October, 2017.

 
The qualified candidates are required to submit the original certificates along with attested copies within two weeks of completion of the SSB interview. Candidates should submit their documents according to their first choice at the following address:
 
Candidates having IMA/SSC as their first choice, should submit the documents at Army Headquarters, A.G.’s Branch/Rtg./CDSE EntrySection for males and SSC Women Entry Section for women candidates, West Block-III,Ground Floor, Wing 1, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066. The last date to submit the documents is July 1, 2017 for IMA.
 
Candidates having Navy as their first choice, should submit the documents at IHQ of MoD (Navy), DMPR (OI & R Section), Room No. 204, ‘C’-Wing, Sena Bhawan, New Delhi-110011. The last date to submit the documents is June 1, 2017 for NA.
 
Candidates having Air Force as their first choice, should submit the documents at PO 3 (A) Air Headquarters, ‘J’ Block, Room No. 17, Opp. Vayu Bhawan, Motilal Nehru Marg, New Delhi-110011. The last date to submit the documents is May 13, 2017 for AFA.
 
Candidates who qualified the written exam should register themselves online on the Indian Army Recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks of the announcement of written result. The Selection Centres and dates of SSB interview will be allotted to the successful candidates, which shall be communicated on the registered e-mail ID.
