Punjab Medical Entrance Test (Punjab PMT) has been preponed by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) from June 12 to June 11. The PMET will be conducted online from this year. PMET 2016 is rescheduled due to the non-availability of computers.
According to a circular published at the university’s website, the number of candidates expected to appear in the entrance test is up to 16000. Due to a large number of applicants the university has decided to set up some centres in Jammu and Haryana. However, the university has made efforts to allocate the centre which is nearest to the candidate’s district.
The candidates can make corrections in their information submitted online by June 6. The PMET result will be declared by June 15. No instructions have been given by the university on NRI admissions. The Medical education secretary told that fresh directions would be issued shortly as the legal opinion on central government’s ordinance was awaited.
