Online application process for JEE Main 2018 will start on December 1, 2017. The application process for JEE Main 2018 will be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education from December 1, 2017 to January 1, 2018. The application forms can be submitted online at www.jeemain.nic.in. You can pay application fee till January 2.
JEE Apex Board is conducting Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2018 on April 8, 2018, in offline mode. This will be the sixth edition of CBSE JEE Main.
JEE Main 2018 is for admission to the undergraduate programmes in Engineering/Technology and Architecture/Planning Programmes and undergraduate Science Programmes at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) and centrally funded Technology Institutes.
It is also an eligibility screening test for appearing for the Joint Entrance Examinations (Advanced) for admission to the IIt for the undergraduate, Integrated Masters and Dual Degree Programmes in Engineering, Science, Pharmacy and Architecture.
Only 2, 24,000 students coming at the top from different categories in Paper I of JEE (Main) would become eligible to appear for the JEE (Advanced) 2018, to be held May 20, 2018.
Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland and Odhisha have joined the JEE (Main) system. So those seeking admission in these states to the Programmes to which admissions were made based on the State level examinations should also apply online for JEE (Main).
ITs/ISM Dhanbad admission will be on basis of JEE Advanced 2018 which is on May 20, 2018. In order to appear in it, the candidate needs to first clear CBSE JEE Main exam. More details of JEE Advanced 2018 can be found here and at jeeadv.ac.in.
