The Joint Admission Board (JAB) that oversees IIT-JEE has announced that JEE (Advanced) 2017 is going to be held on May 21.

JAB has also announced that they will allow 20,000 more students to appear in the JEE (Advanced) after clearing the JEE (Main), taking the tally up to 220,000.

Meanwhile, as per a set of new guidelines issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, OBC-non creamy layer certificates issued after April 1 shall be deemed valid for the JEE (Advanced) 2017.
