The online registration of application starts August 16 and will end on September 5. The candidates will first have to appear for the preliminary exam and then the mains.
The eligibility criteria for the IBPS exam is a graduate degree in any discipline from any recognized university or any equivalent qualification.

IBPS PO 2017 prelims will be held on 7,8,14 and 15 October.
IBPS will conduct pre-exam training from 23 September till 29 September for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities.

The exam will have three sections – English language, quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability – of 100 marks each.
Condition of vacancies
20 banks are participating. But all banks are not offering vacancies.
Out of the total number 3562 of vacancies available for recruitment, maximum are in Canara Bank (1350) followed by Andhra Bank (625) and UCO Bank (530).
Corporation Bank has no vacancies reserved for OBC category.
