NEET PG 2017 Entrance Exam

CBSE says subject experts will address the errors in NEET question paper

The Central Board of secondary education clarified that any discrepancies in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam will be addressed by the subject experts. The comment from CBSE comes against the concerns of candidates and academic experts regarding the discrepancies in NEET exam questions.

CBSE conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on May 7 for admission to undergraduate medical and dental programmes across the country. Students and experts claim that there were 4 incorrect questions in the NEET 2017 exam.

On question has only two options to choose and another question had all four incorrect answers. The CBSE officials said that the ambiguity in questions is an academic issue and will be solved by the subject experts. The official answer keys will be hosted to resolve the issue of incorrect questions. CBSE will publish the date of hosting the answer keys on the NEET 2017 official website.

Some candidates in Andhra Pradesh who applied for Telugu medium claimed that they were given question papers in English and Hindi medium rather than Telugu. However, the CBSE is silent on the issue of question paper language.

CBSE is already in controversies since the conduction on NEET on May 7, with various students and parents complaining of the inconvenience caused due to bizarre dress code.  Four teachers have also been suspended due to the humiliation of female candidates in a Kerala school.
