The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the notice for all the heads of the institutions which are affiliated to the CBSE board in regard to the online registration of Class IX/ XI students for 2014-15.
As per the notice KK Choudhury, Controller of Examinations, CBSE, has asked the institution heads to prepare a timely receipt of the data which is concerned with the Registration of candidates of Class IX and XI. CBSE has extended the online submission for the registration for the same and will be made available from August 25, 2014.
It was also made clear in the notification that, as per the examination by-laws the subjects offered by the student should be the same for Classes IX/X and Classes XI/XII. It the duty of the school to make sure that the subjects offered by the candidates are being taught in the school and also it is the school’s job to make sure that data uploaded for each candidate is accurate in all respects. To ensure accuracy of data, the Subject Code and Subject Name must be checked carefully for each candidate.
Before, submitting the details of the student on the CBSE website, at www.cbse.nic.in, the school needs to first register themselves. This is can also be done on the CBSE website with the ‘Register School’ link.
The registration of students for Class IX/XI has to be made on-line through the website and it is mandatory to register all students of Class IX/XI for academic session 2014-15. The registration forms shall not be sent by the Regional Office to the school. For Registration of all Students for academic session 2014-15 for Class IX/XI:
i. The schools affiliated with CBSE up to Secondary level (Class X) shall submit the details of all those students who are on roll in Class IX for the academic session 2014-15 in the school.
ii. The schools affiliated with CBSE up to Sr. Secondary level (Class XII) shall submit the details of all those students who are on roll in Class IX and in Class XI for the academic session 2014-15 in the school.
NOTE: A 15 days grace time in place of 7 days for receipt of Final List of Students will be allowed to the schools belonging to remote areas viz. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi sub division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island and Lakshadweep and schools in foreign countries.
Also, the complete instructions and procedure for online submission of details of students for registration has been available on the website for download. The schools are advised to carefully go through the same before starting the registration process.
