CBSE which conducted NEET 2018 is in a complete denial mode for the recently passed judgment by the Madras High Court for the exam.
In response to this, the CBSE may approach the Supreme Court against Madras HC for granting total 196 marks to NEET candidates who appeared for the exam in the Tamil language for this year.
The Madras High Court had passed an order for CBSE to give four marks each for 49 questions to around 24,000 examinees for the errors in the Tamil translation of the said questions.
CBSE had been given two weeks to release a fresh list of qualified candidates.
CBSE is presently awaiting direction from the MHRD before appealing to the Supreme Court and it may move to the court after the ministry’s opinion.
