CBSE launches mobile app to assist students to locate exam center

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has come up with a mobile application to help students find the examination center. CBSE’s new app named ‘Exam Locator’ will assist students to locate the examination centre on the basis of their roll number, reports HT

Using the ‘Exam Locator’ app students can easily find their exam center details, address, images and geolocation on the map and also the route to reach the examination centre.

Students and parents will have to register themselves with their mobile number to log in to the mobile application. A one-time password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile number which will help them login into the ‘Exam Locator’ application.

The address, photograph and information of the examination centre will be displayed on the screen for the convenience of students. Candidates will also be able to access the route map via the application.

The exams for CBSE class X and XII will commence on March 9. The exams for class X will continue till April 10 and for class XII will end on April 29, 2017.
