In a circular released by the Central Board of Secondary Education on 26th September 2017, it notified that submitting their Aadhaar number during the registration for the Class 9 and Class 11 board exams will be made compulsory from 2017-18.
All the affiliated schools need to submit the required documents and all the other details of their students by registering them on the official website of the board. Students who don’t have their Aadhaar card have to submit their Aadhaar enrollment number. Students from the states where enrollment is not completed will provide Bank details. For foreign nationals, passport number is a must.
Also, the assessment system for the Class 10 examination has been modified. Now, there will be 80 marks for theory and 20 marks for internal assessment. Also, for both theory and internal assessment, the minimum passing percentage is 33.
