Private management Institutes allowed to conduct their own Entrance Exams

Private institutions which are conducting Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) courses are going to get a lot of relief for this academic year from the Bombay high court on Thursday. Now, they are allowed to conduct their own Common Entrance Tests (CET).

On January 1, the State had published a public notice in which they mentioned that they would conduct CET for this course. According to the petition, the schedule has already been prepared out to conduct its CET and has already been informed to the Directorate of Technical Education and the AICTE as well.

Only full-time Bachelors degree Graduates are eligible for Maharashtra MBA CET in 2010

In a recent notification issued by the directorate of technical education (DTE), only those who have graduated with a full-time Bachelors degree will be able to appear for the test to be conducted on February 21.( If your graduation is through correspondence, you will not be qualified to appear for the state-level common entrance test for the much sought after MBA course.)
