The SC has asked the CBSE to declare the results of the NEET examination for admission to MMS and BDS courses. The Supreme Court has now put a stay on the Madras High court order restraining the publication of results.
The authorities concerned have been told to carry on with the procedure of declaration of results, after which the counselling and admission schedule will follow when preset.
The chain of events that occurred in the delay process before the CBSE had on June 9 moved the Supreme Court seeking an immediate stay on the Madras High Court order for restraining the results from being declared.
The latest of the pleas of the petitioners before the high court being that the NEET 2017 be cancelled and a fresh exam with a uniform question paper to be conducted.
