The Orissa High Court today ordered the state government to hold second Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) of the year to fill up huge vacancies of B.Tech and MCA seats in both government and private engineering colleges.
Presiding over an appeal of OPECA (Odisha Private Engineering College Association) Chief Justice Vineet Saran who leads the division bench told the govt of the state to hold the supplementary examination of JEE so that only the vacant seats in the in the reserved categories could be filled up.
Hence, the govt must issue the notification for the JEE exam by August 5 and complete the whole admissions process by August 14.
