Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2015 will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for admission to M.Sc (Two-Year), Joint M.Sc – PhD, M.Sc – PhD Dual Degree, M.Sc – M.Tech and other Post-Bachelor Degree Programs at IIT and IISc.
JAM 2015 is scheduled for February 08, 2015.
To be eligible for JAM 2015, Un‐Reserved/OBC category Candidates must have secured First class (as declared by the university) in the qualifying examinations and SC/ST and PwD category candidates must have secured second class (as declared by the University) or 50 per cent aggregate marks, without rounding off for admission in IISc Bangalore. For IIT, Un‐Reserved/OBC category Candidates must have secured 55 per cent or 6.0 CPI in a scale of 10, and SC/ST and PwD category candidates must secure minimum of 50 per cent.
Admission to the academic programmes in IISc Bangalore and IITs for the academic session 2015‐16 will be made on the basis of all India merit list of JAM 2015.
JAM 2015 will have Seven test out of which a candidate can appear for either one or a maximum of two test papers. Duration of these seven papers will be of three hours each. Test Papers of JAM 2015 will be of fully objective type. JAM 2015 examination will be conducted in ONLINE mode only.
Results for JAM 2015 will be declared on March 19, 2015.
