The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has made it clear in a notification stating that Aadhaar card is not necessary for candidates that are applying for the Regional Rural Bank (RRB) examination. The Director of the IBPS said that for RRBs-CWE-VI, Aadhar card number is optional.
A notification was released in July by IBPS about the 15,068 vacancies at 56 different RRBs. The notice stated that there were 8,298 vacant seats for the post of office assistant. Out of these 5,023 were for scale 1, and 1500 ad 169 for scale 2 and 3 respectively. The following are the important dates for the exam:

In the preliminary exam, there will be questions on numerical and reasoning abilities. Each section will be of 80 marks. The selected candidates will be assigned their respective banks by January 2018.
All the candidates need to be proficient in the local language for the post of Office Assistant and Office Scale 1.They should have studied the language in class 8th or must have a certificate equivalent of 8th standard. The candidates that fail to meet this criterion will be given six months to learn the language.
