The Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) will now be conducted online instead of the previous pen paper mode.
National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has made certain changes is the CTET format. The changes brought in by A Santosh Mathew chairperson of NCTE will be made at a huge scale in all the seating papers and examinations.
According to Mathew this examination aimed at checking the knowledge and skill of the teacher but once the new format has been implemented the teachers’ attitude will also be examined.
Aspirants who wish to apply for the CTET must start preparing for the online test format and should mark their dates as the registration of the same is likely to start in the month of September 2017.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) every year for the appointment of teachers in government schools, private schools, Navodaya Schools, Central School. Candidates who qualify the entrance examination can then apply for recruitment in government schools.
As of now, CBSE has not issued any notification regarding the registration process of CTET, but it will soon be released.
